माइकल जॉर्डन बचपन से ही अपने papa के आज्ञाकारी बेटे थे।
एक बार उनके पिता ने उनको एक t-shirt दी और कहा कि माइकल इस t-shirt को बेच कर दिखाओ। माइकल कभी नही बोले कि पिताजी मैं यह काम नही कर पाऊंगा।माइकल गए और उस टीशर्ट को 1 डॉलर मे बेच कर आये उनके पिता ने उनको शाबाशी दी
और अगली बार फिर कहा माइकल जाओ और अबकी बार इसे 2 डॉलर मे बेचकर दिखाओ,माइकल गए और धूप में परेशान होते रहे लेकिन टीशर्ट नही बिकी।
माइकल ने दिमाग लगाया और टीशर्ट पर micky mouse का photo प्रिंट किया और एक अच्छे स्कूल के बाहर खड़े हो गए जहाँ अमीरो के बच्चे पढ़ते थे ।

एक प्रसिद्ध लेखक पत्रकार और राजनयिक पुष्पेंद्र कुलश्रेष्ठ जो बेहद ही हंसमुख स्वभाव और आकर्षक व्यक्तित्व के धनी है। उनकी पत्रकारिता देश ही नहीं अपितु विदेश में भी प्रसिद्ध है। उन्होंने वैसे जगह पर भी पत्रकारिता की है जहां अन्य पत्रकारों के लिए संभव नहीं है।उनकी हसमुख प्रवृत्ति और हाजिर जवाब का कोई सानी नहीं है। एक समय की बात है पुष्पेंद्र एक सभा को संबोधित कर रहे थे , सभा में जनसैलाब उमड़ा था , लोग उन्हें सुनने के लिए दूर-दूर से आए हुए थे।
जब वह अपना भाषण समाप्त कर बाहर निकले , तब उनकी ओर एक भीड़ ऑटोग्राफ के लिए बढ़ी। पुष्पेंद्र उनसे बातें करते हुए ऑटोग्राफ दे रहे थे। तभी एक नौजवान उस भीड़ से पुष्पेंद्र के सामने आया उस नौजवान ने उनसे कहा –” मैं आपका बहुत बड़ा श्रोता और प्रशंसक हूं , मैं साहित्य प्रेमी हूं , जिसके कारण मुझे आपकी लेखनी बेहद रुचिकर लगती है। इस कारण आप मेरे सबसे प्रिय लेखक भी हैं। मैंने आपकी सभी पुस्तकें पढ़ी है और आपके व्यक्तित्व को अपने जीवन में उतारना चाहता हूं। किंतु मैं ऐसा क्या करूं जिससे मैं एक अलग पहचान बना सकूं। आपकी तरह ख्याति पा सकूं।”
ऐसा कहते हुए उस नौजवान ने अपनी पुस्तिका ऑटोग्राफ के लिए पुष्पेंद्र की ओर बढ़ाई।
पुष्पेंद्र ने उस समय कुछ नहीं कहा और उसकी पुस्तिका में कुछ शब्द लिखें और ऑटोग्राफ देकर उस नौजवान को पुस्तिका वापस कर दी।
इस पुस्तिका में यह लिखा हुआ था –
” आप अपना समय स्वयं को पहचान दिलाने के लिए लगाएं ,
किसी दूसरे के ऑटोग्राफ से आपकी पहचान नहीं बनेगी।

नौजवान इस जवाब को पढ़कर बेहद प्रसन्न हुआ और उसने पुष्पेंद्र को धन्यवाद कहा कि –

पुष्पेंद्र ने उस नौजवान को धन्यवाद दिया और सफलता के लिए ढेर सारी शुभकामनाएं भी दी।

एक मां और एक बच्चा ऊंट एक पेड़ के नीचे लेटे हुए थे।फिर बच्चे के ऊंट ने पूछा, "ऊंट के पास कूबड़ क्यों हैं?"
